If this ting was really an astronomical site maybe built to observe the skies than why the ? would it haver been built half way down a hill? They would have built it on top of the hill for the best vantage point. This thing is actually built on the edge of a dry river valley making that porous chalk pit in circling it fill with water, but we won't mention that as this would place the construction back a further 5000 years and we will ignore all the evidence of the stones quarry leading leading us to the same date and instead cherry pick a single example of a only one stone being excavated in wales in the neolithic period. Of cause the British were to stupid to use water and river valleys to transport those huge stones like the Egyptians and Greeks did so instead we will believe that they dragged them hundreds of miles instead.
