I live in the UK in a semi rural area and often on a Sunday weekend the cyclist's come out in force, the everyday cyclist to and from work are fine, but the weekend warriors often take up the whole road side by side just to to chatting to each other, it's worse when there is a squad of about 10. Looking for a point to over take and you get the idiot one's that try to wave you through on a blind bend... like what type of person would be stupid enough to overtake on a blind bend based on what someone else can see instead of the driver. It's there attitude that rubs people up the wrong way, put someone on a horse and it's a whole different ball game, I certainly slow right down and over take at a slow speed.

@venusfooltrap7371 No I always follow the rules regardless if they are a cyclists or not. What I actually said was I always take extra care around horses meaning I am fully aware that to startle a horse and they could throw the Ryder off causing life threatening injuries and potentially parasailing them. But yes there is a huge difference between daily cyclists in a high-viz going to and from work vs weekenders that often take up entire lanes chatting to each other knowing full well that cause they are not subject to road tax or insurance they can more or less behave with impunity, if any car was impeding the flow of traffic in a driving test they would automatically fail.

@venusfooltrap7371 Yeah m8 if you think am reading such a self involved rant in victimization your deluded. At least I take solace in knowing that your testicular temperature will likely increase by wearing tight-fitting cycling shorts thus impacting sperm quality and quantity. The prolonged sitting in cycling will hopefully lead to compression and trauma of the testicles thus affecting sperm production and quality. Meaning thank goodness your part of a dying breed.
