  1. Looking good, as a Brit these days we usually call this type of pudding a "steamed pudding" cause we make it in a basin and steam it rather than submerging it in water and boiling it . All steamed puddings can also be cooked in a microwave in a much much shorter period as a microwave heats food it essentially in a very similar way as steaming it, one of the only foods that can be cooked just as good in a Microwave. Added note, I have never seen the brown sugar and butter sauce thing before but the normal way the eat a steamed pudding is with custard which I highly recommend.
