Comments by "terrytees" (@terrytees) on "Trump says report claiming he paid just $750 in income tax is 'fake news'" video.
Capital gains tax guys, not income tax yeah. If you have money that is were to tax comes from, you don't pay yourself a wage when you are make profits on investments, you just take profit.

LMAO

It is fake, can you imagine a billionaire paying themselves a wage? There is zero point to do this. His money will be made via investments and he will be paying 20% capital gains tax on those profits.
1
Exposed for what, income tax? He is a billionaire why the hell would he pay himself a wage? He won't he will invest his money therefore income tax is pointless, the only thing you should be concerned with is capital gains tax which is at 20% on all profits.

@Swapside do I not see any thing wrong with the statement? "he was probably" yeah it's called cognitive dissonance based on factless presumption.
1
@Swapside It's funny because they way he offset business losses into tax credits was signed into law by Obama.
1
@Swapside He’s a real estate developer (tax gains and losses are paired) It's his capital gains tax you should be thinking about. Breaking news: You guys are gonna want to sit down for this. It turns out rich people and their companies have entire teams who work to lessen their tax bill and use as much $ to reinvest in their business as they’re legally able to. Can you believe it?! These teams like prepare their taxes and stuff and the rich people just sign when they’re told to! They don’t even like try to pay more than they have to... My shock is through the roof! Face with rolling eyes Just wait till people find it out Jeff Bezos’ Amazon got a $129M refund. Exploding head

@Swapside You do realise that this article is just a rewrite of the 2016 NYT story, it's the same returns that got published four years before he won. Now I know 99.99% of the mainstream media are staying tight lipped on the fact that ilhan omar teams just been caught red handed on video harvesting huge numbers ballots from venerable voters, so what say you that rehashing a four year old story is a smoke screen to deflect attention?
1
@Swapside "I'm getting the impression" you use cognitive dissonance every time hear about facts that point out the nonsense in your own arguments.
1
@Swapside The reason the tax system allows for reinvestment into business over income tax is quite simple, it expands the said business thus creating more employment incentives and increasing the total amount of recoverable income tax.
1
@Swapside You are clearly demoralized thus incapable of using facts. Yet again you sight a completely different case, when has inheritance tax ever equated to an active business and it's income tax.
1
bet you won't pay any were near the amount he does in capital gains tax though.
1
@oldmanjenkins6519 You shouldn't be concern with what he pays in income tax, he is a billionaire so his income will be measured in investments and not via paying himself a wage, as it is highly doubtful he will even have a wage. His investments will be measured in capital gains tax which is 20% and if you think the IRS let him off that or he can get around a large percentage of that then you are very wrong, as long as he has made profit he will be paying capital gains tax at 20% of that profit. Notice how this hasn't been pointed out.

@AllThingsCubey LMAO Wrong no that couldn't stop him from running. It outstanding to me how most people have no idea how money works.

@AllThingsCubey Trump tax reveal 1. No foreign influence 2. He’s a real estate developer (tax gains and losses are paired) The New York Times has just published a long hyped and incredibly long winded account of Trump’s finances. It’s going to seriously upset the left. There appears to be no wrongdoing, no Russia ties, and nothing of substance beyond what most corporations do. Womp womp! Exploding head Guess what the new tax environment produced under Trump? The best economy in American history because rich people spent more $ on their businesses, new ventures and on wages to compete to hire the best people. It works. Is it perfect? No. We can and will make it better over time. Literally the vast majority of rich people do this. This is not the breaking news you think it is to minimize your tax liability through tax planning. A whole team of people do it for them. They just sign where they’re asked to sign. All legal tax breaks. It's nothing
1
@AllThingsCubey oh and BTW you should pay more attention all this was originally report in the NYT back in 2016
1
Has it ever occurred to anyone here that this rehashing of an article from 2016 is just a smoke screen for Ilhan Omar being connected to major voter fraud right?
1
Trump no longer runs his companies so it's impossible to tax him on that. Also, Trump opted out of the 400,000 dollar pay of president and is essentially only making money off of social security which is why he was only taxed so much.
