  3.  Jo Sm  Am pretty sure not to many people would pass it, this is an area that can't be reached safely by foot, it's literally the desert. I think the most plausible reason thats been suggested is a movie prop. This is a national park and filming would require a paid licence, plus cutting into the rock bed would be prohibited which is maybe the reason no-one is coming forward. Am sure the fines for defacing a national park would range from very very large to prison time. As already said It has been there for four years, see goggle earth.   7. Guessing a movie prop, most likely unauthorised filming in national park which will be why nobody has come forward. Been there since 2016 look at google earth coordinates 38.343080°, -109.666190°
