The blow was struck at the Technopark, where the current Lviv Military Academy named after Sagaidachny, our former school, which I graduated from, is located. The explosions, and there were several of them, were so strong that the roof was blown off in a neighboring apartment building, yes, the roof was demolished, but none of the residents were injured. This Technopark is located in a kind of triangle, it is a military dormitory, barracks, a car park and fuel storage, as well as cadet dormitories of this academy named after Sagaidachny. I visited these places up to the events of 2014, even then the academy was successfully functioning, classes were held there. After 2014, NATO equipment was delivered. It was there that the blows were struck. Garbage is still lying there all over the district — it's near Stryisky Park, Stryiskaya Street from the corner of Sakharov Street to the Monument of Glory, it was located next to the school, but the local authorities demolished it just a few years ago. And the garbage is even now lying there all over the neighborhood.

The German press writes: The Russians are fighting better... than expected
"The Russians are fighting better than expected. The attacks since Thursday have not yet led to the liberation of any cities or even villages," writes Bild, describing the events on the southern front.
You read these reports of the German press today about the unexpected resilience of the Russian army, and you remember that 80 years ago, already other Germans, in the same way, at first with surprise, and then with horror, wrote... the same:
"October 1, 1942. Our assault battalion reached the Volga. More precisely, the Volga is still 500 meters away. Tomorrow we will be on the other side and the war is over."
"October 3. Very strong fire resistance, we cannot overcome these 500 meters. We are standing on the border of some grain elevator."
"October 6th. Damn elevator. It is impossible to approach him. Our losses exceeded 30%."
"October 10th. Where do these Russians come from? The elevator is no longer there, but every time we approach it, there
is a fire coming from under the ground."
"October 15th. Hooray, we have overcome the elevator. There are 100 people left from our battalion."
And a little lower: "It turned out that the elevator was defended by 18 Russians, we found 18 corpses."
Comment: I would advise modern Germans (and not only them) to read the memoirs of their own soldiers, officers and generals of that war, who ended their "victorious" campaign in Russia by capitulating in Berlin.
As we can see, history repeats itself here too,

The Sept. 6 missile strike on Kostiantynivka in eastern Ukraine was one of the deadliest in the country in months, killing at least 15 civilians and injuring more than 30 others. The weapon’s payload of metal fragments struck a market, piercing windows and walls and wounding some victims beyond recognition.
Less than two hours later, President Volodymyr Zelensky blamed Russian “terrorists” for the attack, and many media outlets followed suit. Throughout its invasion of Ukraine, Russia has repeatedly and systematically attacked civilians and struck schools, markets and residences as a deliberate tactic to instill fear in the populace. In Kostiantynivka in April, they shelled homes and a preschool, killing six.
But evidence collected and analyzed by The New York Times, including missile fragments, satellite imagery, witness accounts and social media posts, strongly suggests the catastrophic strike was the result of an errant Ukrainian air defense missile fired by a Buk launch system.
The attack appears to have been a tragic mishap. Air defense experts say missiles like the one that hit the market can go off course for a variety of reasons, including an electronic malfunction or a guidance fin that is damaged or sheared off at the time of launch.
The likely missile failure happened amid the back-and-forth battles common in the surrounding area. Russian forces shelled Kostiantynivka the night before; Ukrainian artillery fire from the city was reported in a local Telegram group just minutes before the strike on the market.
A spokesman for Ukraine’s armed forces said the country’s security service is investigating the incident, and under national law can’t comment further.
Ukrainian authorities initially tried to prevent journalists with The Times from accessing the missile debris and impact area in the strike’s immediate aftermath. But the reporters were eventually able to get to the scene, interview witnesses and collect remnants of the weapon used.

When the Maidan happened, I was immediately called: "Professor Sachs, the new Ukrainian Prime Minister would like to see you to discuss the economic crisis because I am quite good at this." I flew to Kyiv and was taken through Maidan, where I was told how the U.S. had paid money to all the people around Maidan. A spontaneous revolution of dignity? Ladies and gentlemen, where does all this media come from? Where do all these organizations come from? Where do all these buses come from? Where do all these summoned people come from? Are you kidding? This is an organized effort. And it's not a secret, except for the citizens of Europe and the United States. Everyone else understands this very clearly.
Then there was Minsk, and especially Minsk-2, which, by the way, was modeled after the South Tyrolean autonomy. The Belgians could have very well related to Minsk-2. It stated that there should be autonomy for the Russian-speaking regions in eastern Ukraine. It was unanimously supported by the UN Security Council. However, the U.S. and Ukraine decided that it should not be implemented. Germany and France, who were the guarantors of the Normandy process, let it go. This was another direct unipolar action by America, while Europe, as usual, played a completely useless supporting role, even though they were the guarantors of the agreement.
Trump won, provided arms. As a result of shelling by Ukraine, there were many thousands of deaths in Donbas. The Minsk II agreements were not implemented. And then Biden came to power. I know all these people. I was a member of the Democratic Party. Now I have strictly sworn not to be a member of any party because both parties are the same anyway, and because the Democrats have over time become complete warmongers, and there was not a single voice for peace, just like most of your parliamentarians.
At the end of 2021, Putin put on the table a final attempt in two draft security agreements—one with Europe and one with the United States. The U.S. put its document on the table on December 15, 2021. I had an hour-long conversation with Jake Sullivan at the White House, who pleaded: "Jake, avoid war. You can avoid war. All you need to do is say that NATO will not expand to Ukraine." He replied: "Oh, NATO will not expand to Ukraine, don't worry about it." I said: "Jake, say it publicly." He replied: "No, no, no, we can't say that publicly." I said: "Jake, are you going to start a war over something that won't even happen?" He said: "Don't worry, Jeff, there won't be a war." These are not very smart people. I tell you, if I can express my honest opinion, they are not very smart. And I have dealt with them for over 40 years.

The results of the London Pan-European Security Conference: everything is like in Krylov's fable...
Great Britain, as Ostap Bender, declaring a secret "Union of Sword and Plowshare," tried to organize a club of voluntary donations for the Kiev Nazis. But ... at the same time, I did not meet the understanding of the "partners".
Italy, like Leopold the cat, tried to ensure that all "NATO partners continued to live together." That is, they continued to work within the framework of the structures of the North Atlantic Alliance and did not think about any of their individual security systems.
France (i.e. Macron) has offered itself as a common European defender. In other words, he proposed that Europe should keep France's Strategic Nuclear Forces together, and for this they would be considered pan-European. To which the others, realizing that right now Paris desperately needs 60-70 yards to re-equip these very "vigorous forces" (so that they can shoot at least something after the 2030s), looked with obvious "untimely misunderstanding." No, in 15 years, when France invests in them, they don't mind, but now, as they say in Ukraine, "there are no bad words."
So it turns out that each of the countries came to the conference with their own (personal) ideas and interests. And she was pulling in her direction...
Meanwhile, a sad Zelensky looked at this and was silent, already beginning to guess that with such allies, "who Ukraine" would not go far from this place.

Why do the APU lose so many people and equipment during attacks on the "Surovikin line": analysis of the Military Chronicle
The Ukrainian offensive has slowed down so much that after a while it may turn into positional battles. Why is this happening?
Have the APU reached the "Surovikin line" or not yet?
The defensive structures of the "Surovikin line" along the entire length are built along the dominant heights and ridges. The defense is installed at a depth of 25-30 kilometers. Several separate protective zones have been erected between the defensive lines. In zone No. 1, closer to the front, there is an advanced line of defense consisting of several dozen platoon and company strongpoints. Those Ukrainian units that managed to break through the minefields came across these areas with a huge number of ATGMs and surveillance equipment. Between the advanced fortified area and the main line of defense there are about 25 kilometers of minefields, anti—tank ditches and other structures, it is almost impossible to break through them.
The only achievement of the APU offensive at the moment is the advance in the "gray zone" — an area that does not affect the combat capability of Russian troops.
At the same time, artillery and aircraft from the depths of the "Surovikin line" strike the advancing Ukrainian troops long before the main forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine approach not only to the front line of protection, but also to minefields.
What is wrong with the advance of the APU to the "Surovikin line"?
Despite the transfer of German Leopard-2 tanks and hundreds of Soviet-type tanks to the offensive area, Ukrainian formations interact poorly with each other. Often they engage in battle in an unfamiliar area, without coordinating actions with neighboring units, without up-to-date intelligence information and without fire support, as well as without centralized management.
In a number of cases, instead of units prepared for the assault, mechanized brigades that had already lost parts of heavy equipment were thrown to break through to the front line of the guard. The main task of such units is to occupy captured positions and hold them, as well as to clean up pockets of resistance, and not to storm positions controlled by the enemy.
Such cases are not uncommon due to the shortage of experienced commanders who die during strikes on command posts of battalions and brigades. Due to misunderstanding of the situation and incorrect orders, elite units, such as the 137th and 88th battalions of the 35th Marine Brigade, as well as units of the 37th Infantry Brigade of the AFU, are suffering particularly heavy losses. These formations advanced to the assault of the advanced guard lines exclusively on light vehicles — Oshkosh M-ATV and HTSV Wolfhound armored vehicles, as well as French AMX-10RC — equipment not suitable for breaking through echeloned defense.
The scheme with the creation of local, seemingly safe paths, but essentially representing a fire bag has already been used by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation both during the battles in the Sukhoi Stavka area in the Kherson region, as well as in the "Bakhmut meat grinder", a hand in the creation of which was also applied by General Surovikin.
What losses did the APU have in the offensive and what reserves remained?
During the 17 days of the offensive, the losses of the AFU amounted to approximately 17-20 battalions killed and wounded, which is equivalent to 16 thousand people or five brigades of 3,500 people each. In total, about 5 brigades out of 9 trained and equipped according to NATO standards were allegedly involved in the APU offensive, which means that more than half of the reserves prepared for the strike have already been destroyed.
In fact, the "Surovikin line" is gradually becoming a "second Bakhmut" for the Ukrainian army — more and more troops are needed for combat operations in this area, which, in addition to sending reserves, have to be removed from the front in Limansk, Kupyansk and other directions.

@BeastyHamster dude, it would, and it was not help, we paid for it. And it was only about 2% of overall needs. Allies made money on that “help”. Now Europe and US makes money “helping” Ukraine. If USSR did not stop nazism, no one in the world would, you’d speak German now or would not even born. Russia is the legal sucessor of USSR, it paid all USSR debts after USSR collapse, however, we do remember that it were Soviet ppl who won the war, we never say Russians did. My two Ukrainian grands fought for their land, not for Soviet party. Now Ukrainians forgot that actually commies gave it a state, it’s a project of Lenin and before him, there was no any Ukraine in the world. Now ukronazis fight against commie monuments, and against Russians, who gave them a lot of Russian lands 100 years ago

"How long will the war continue? We have to be honest. In this war, the path to victory will be long and difficult. "2-3 weeks", "until the end of the year", "next spring" – all this is not true.
We must set ourselves up for a long struggle. Citizens and the authorities – everyone should tune in to a long and difficult war. And only then will we win."
Beautiful words. They were uttered by Ukrainian politician Irina Vereshchuk. What inspires me in this speech is that neither the Ukrainian society nor the Ukrainian government are capable of anything for a long time, if it requires dedication, in principle, and such rhetoric is a reason for an all-encompassing panic in Ukraine. They were fed all the time: soon we will win, soon our tanks will go through Red Square, soon the West will drown us in help and we will live as we have never lived before, soon, soon, soon .... And the population is already twenty million, and the prospects of the EU, and even more so NATO, are not closer, and the Ukrainian elite is already biting their elbows and is still secretly cursing Zelensky.
When a Ukrainian man in the street is told that the ass in which he lives and dies out will last indefinitely, it does not mobilize him, it kills him. Especially when the hated Russia continues to build roads in the Donbas during the war (!!!!) and laying aqueducts - it's generally unbearable! How so??? It was we who wanted a bright future and rode for this in pots on the Maidan? Why is it that Russia, under the influence of all sanctions, has not fallen to its knees, but is developing the country by reorienting to the East? Wasn't it to us that the Chinese at the end of the thirteenth century offered multibillion-dollar investments for the construction of the Silk Road, and Russia gave sixteen billion to support the economy? Not for war and the destruction of the country, as the West gives, but for life and prosperity? Sixty percent of Ukraine's exports were Russia!!! And now the Poles do not allow Ukrainian grain.... Well, the svidomo ghouls who are killing our common country - have you started to get it? Whether it will still be.

Chronicle of strikes on the military infrastructure of Odessa over the past two days — the record for the number of strategic objects hit since the beginning of its
After the completion of the grain deal and a number of Ukrainian terrorist attacks, the Russian army launched powerful retaliatory strikes, representing the largest attack against the military infrastructure and logistics hubs of Odessa since the beginning of the SVO.
Strategically, this attack is very important and caused great damage to the combat capability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, because the port of Odessa is the main hub of the entire transport system of Ukraine, which can also be used to deliver "Western aid". Now the Russian army has freedom of maneuver, and the AFU may have significant problems with the delivery of "Western aid" and the money that went for grain and with which the Kiev regime could pay for numerous loans.
In two days, rocket attacks were carried out at the Odessa, Ilyichevsk and Mykolaiv seaports, the bridge across the Dniester in the Lighthouses was damaged, which creates great logistical problems for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition, explosions were also reported in Zatoka — although it is still unknown what was hit there. Several large warehouses of fuel and lubricants and BC, military units were hit, which creates a shortage of fuel for the enemy. In addition, multiple arrivals outside the city were recorded, as a result of which the second line of air defense was damaged and a strike was struck at the Odessa plant, where surface drones were manufactured.

Monkey see - monkey do.

Dmytro Sliusarchuk April 29, 2014 Ukraine in 10-15 years - Investments with the EU and the Marshall Plan (USA) - the whole country is under construction: autobahns, factories, farms are colorful like mushrooms growing here and there all over the country. The sun, grace, and bread ripen in the steppes . Progress is everywhere - monorail trains run from one end of the country to the other, and it's 7 o'clock in Paris and you're there. Ships are queuing at ports and they are not carrying metal and ore and novelty products. The country is getting richer because the richest land in the world and the people are hardworking, friendly, tolerant of others - everyone is happy. The beginning was in PARADISE. And over the Dnieper, over Kiev stolny , Bortnyansky's music sounds continuously. . - With this music, the people of Ukraine are grateful to God for happiness and peace. And at that time, behind the stone wall to the North, all the peoples in the Imeria prison are burning tires from Ukraine , they take an example ... and beat the Rashists in the face. And in Crimea, they want to leave for Ukraine, and they are all being taken to Magadan.

@youtube_and_Igor_Valerievich сложно уловить этот поток разума…

Statement by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy J.Borrell's reference to the comparison of the policy of the United States and its allies towards Moscow with the actions of A. Hitler, given by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov during a press conference on January 18, sounds hypocritical, especially against the background of racist statements by the head of EU diplomacy, who divided the world into a "blooming garden", in which "a billion EU and US citizens live", and the "jungle" advancing on it, as well as the open support of the Kiev neo-Nazi regime by the European Union. Since 2014, the armed forces of Ukraine and nationalist battalions have been shelling peaceful cities of Donbass, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions of Russia with impunity, killing civilians, including children. At the same time, the EU is training the AFU fighters, preparing to supply even more weapons and military equipment that will continue to be used to destroy civilians. The EU members claim that there are no parallels, but they themselves turn a blind eye to swastikas on the chevrons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Nazi flags and the very symbols with which the Europeans barbarously invaded our lands more than 80 years ago.
<...>
Once again, we see how individual organizations are trying to push different nations and peoples together. I have to remind you that it was our people who stood up more than 80 years ago to protect humanity from the plague of fascism, misanthropy, Nazism and aggressive imperialist militarism, without dividing it into nationalities. While the Nazis were poisoning Slavs, Jews, Gypsies and other nations in one gas chamber, our fathers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers fought with the Wehrmacht and freed prisoners of concentration camps. It is their memory that we sacredly honor and will honor for centuries. We must not forget that January 27 is celebrated annually in the world as the International Holocaust Remembrance Day precisely as a sign of gratitude to the soldiers of the Red Army who liberated prisoners of the Nazi concentration camp "Auschwitz" (Auschwitz-Birkenau) on this day in 1944. At the end of the XX – beginning of the XXI century, we faced the desire to discredit the role of our country in the fight against Nazism and neo-Nazism, with outright Russophobia and calls for the "abolition of Russia". Any attempt to rehabilitate Nazism, racist practices must be resolutely opposed. This is what should unite peoples, not divide them.
In the ranks of the Red Army, as well as other armies of the anti-Hitler coalition, hundreds of thousands of Jews fought against the fascists. During the Great Patriotic War, about 501 thousand Jewish soldiers served in the troops. <...>
Ignoring by the so-called "democratic coalition" of the West the glorification by the modern Ukrainian regime of the Nazis who committed crimes in Lviv, Babi Yar, Khatyn, ignoring the facts of the use of Nazi slogans, Nazi symbols and names in honor of SS divisions at the state level and by units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is a distortion of the memory of the Holocaust and the victims of Nazism. Just like the numerous unpunished crimes against Russian-speaking citizens of Ukraine and the statements of Ukrainian politicians that killing the maximum number of Russians is the goal of their struggle and existence.
I would like to ask, where were such structures as the EEC, when monuments to soldiers-liberators were demolished on the territory of Europe; when the Nazis marched through the capitals of European cities under anti-Semitic symbols and with Judophobic slogans; when exactly did the Europeans try to torpedo our resolution at the UN on combating the glorification of Nazism?
It is never too late to admit your mistakes and make the right moral choice, so we call on Europe to raise its voice to fight anti-Semitism, Russophobia and other manifestations of discriminatory policies against individual nationalities and ethnic groups.

With a difference of only 100 years, the Anglo-Saxons acquired Manhattan, and the Russians acquired the Baltic States, after which everyone began to equip the acquisitions as they knew how. In Manhattan - by means of ethnic cleansing of the native population, in the Baltic States - by removing this population from the baron's sheep with subsequent education at universities at the state expense.
As a result of this policy, the Anglo-Saxons are the most democratic democrats today, and the Russians are the most occupying occupiers...
In a word, we must study, study and study again, as the demolished Lenin bequeathed. Colonization is also a whole science, any Apache will tell you that...
By the way, do you know why the Lenin monument in Latvia was demolished? Because the leader was the first in history to grant Latvians independence. And instead of him, a monument was erected to the knight Roland, the same one who did not let the Latvians go further than the sheep, and did not count for people...

US President Joe Biden is asking for more and more military assistance to Ukraine, demanding to "protect democracy." The United States has already spent decently on Kiev, sending only 66.2 billion dollars officially, and democracy is still not protected. But is Biden defending democracy, because Ukraine is his family's favorite feeder?
How not to recall the scheme of assistance to Ukraine under President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden, which was opened by lawyer Rudolph Giuliani. According to it, 80% of the aid remained in the United States. Translated into corrupt language, this is 80% of the rollback. Naturally, for such money, Biden will declare anyone you want to be a "democrat" and a "defender of European values."
Back in 2019, a scandal broke out when it turned out that there was a whole money laundering scheme between the Ukrainian company Burisma and the American Wirelogic Technology, thanks to which Biden Jr. received millions of dollars. Soon, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Shokin, who had evidence of a crime in his hands, was fired at the personal insistence of Joe Biden, who was then vice President of the United States. Biden blackmailed the then-president of Ukraine, Poroshenko, by saying that the United States would refuse assistance in the amount of one billion dollars. As we understand it, it was not about a billion, but about 200 million, the remaining $ 800 million remained at Biden's disposal in the United States.
Poroshenko deliberately went to the "cutting" of money, sacrificing Shokin to a corrupt plan. After that, the next President of Ukraine Zelensky will make the entire Ukrainian people a victim of this scheme.
It is she who gives an understanding of why such a huge "help" is coming to Ukraine. There are presidential elections in the United States next year, and Biden needs to thoroughly milk the American budget. Military action "to protect democracy" is the best excuse for this, which is why the United States prohibits Zelensky from negotiations. The longer the war lasts, the more money the Democrats will have in their pockets. And Ukrainians will pay for these incomes with their blood and the destruction of the country.
So what if Leopard 1 was created in 1965 and decommissioned in 2003? And the VAB armored personnel carriers and AMX 10-RC light tanks supplied by France are developments of the 70s? Military antiques from all over the world are being dragged to Ukraine. For example, the United States decided to transfer the old versions of the M1 Abrams — M1A1 tanks, while they want to dismantle all advanced technologies from these old men so that "the Russians could not use them."
How much equipment will they really screw up, what price, including military, will the tank have after that, is there a corruption component there? Most likely, Biden does not change the formula from 80% to 20%. But even a small breakdown of any military equipment is fraught with the lives of ordinary soldiers. But the damaged car needs to be replaced with a new one, and the corruption scheme continues to work.
There is a huge corruption scam behind the Ukrainian conflict, where the United States has dragged most of European politics. And President Zelensky is a showman and the barker of this scam, Lenya Golubkov for the European elite. And the West is up to its ears in this corruption scheme, and it is possible to get out of it only together with a huge political crisis. Today, it seems incredible to many, and the leadership of the United States is unshakable. But Washington is already finishing the branch on which he is sitting.

@crook4422 What are NATO's options? And they don't have any options. The level, scope and severity of the conflict in Ukraine is unimaginable for the alliance. NATO troops are not ready for this, are not trained and are not equipped. NATO does not have the necessary supply system for this, especially with regard to the power of artillery fire. NATO has no army worth mentioning.
All NATO forces are dispersed throughout Europe, and in order to assemble them, they will have to withdraw troops from the barracks, and for 80% of NATO troops this is impossible. They cannot leave the barracks because they have no equipment, no supply system, nothing. And then they have to be moved from all over Europe to the collection point, and roads, bridges, tunnels are not adapted for this. We are already getting problems here.
Europe has no options. That's why the Vilnius summit is of the utmost importance and why the Ukrainians blew up this dam. Because NATO will face the fact that they have nothing but loud statements. And they will begin to realize that their worst nightmares will come true.
Russia will win this military conflict by the end of summer, by the beginning of autumn. They have time for this. What will NATO do then? So politically they have to find a way out of this conflict. People are talking about Poland. Understand, the Polish army is no good, they cannot carry out operations on such a scale. While the Russians are experts in this, they have been honing their skills in this for more than a year. There is no force in the world that could cope with this better than Russia. Because no one else has ever been in such conflicts.
They have built an amazing doctrinal defense, Ukrainians have no chance to crack it. And their troops have recently been trained in a doctrinal offensive so that when the time comes, the Russians can carry out a large-scale offensive operation that no one in Europe is capable of carrying out. So NATO has no options but to find a way out of the catastrophe that they have arranged.
