  1. Yup! In CO district 3, our congressman, Jeff Hurd (who replaced Boebert when she ran away to a more conservative district), had a town hall scheduled in Grand Junction. 400 people showed up. But not Hurd! Then a few days later, there was a scheduled event in Dolores, CO. A Hurd staffer was supposed to be there on his behalf. At least 250 people showed up (in teeny-tiny Dolores). But not the Hurd staffer! I called his office (one of many of my calls to his office) to let him know that his not showing up says a lot about how unprepared he is to defend the actions, policies, and cabinet picks of the Trump/Musk admin, and of congressional Republicans. Them not showing up to town halls is all the more reason we gotta keep calling them, and at least leaving messages.
