  142.  Sylvie  If you look at the real world data from actual history in tables like "End of season influenza vaccine effectiveness for all vaccine types, against influenza A or B viruses" and "End of season influenza vaccine effectiveness for all vaccine types, against influenza A(H1N1)pdm09 viruses" at the CDC instead of somebody's grift, you'll find you just lied to me and you're a liar for repeating lies unless you can present legitimate data to counter the CDC's data in which case I would apologize. The effectiveness varies from year to year and averages 40% which isn't high enough for me to think of getting, but it's been as high as 60% in the winter of 2010-2011 and as low as 10% in 2004-2005 and there are decades of long term study for these "developed that year" vaccines which was my point. Decades. This is an mRNA vaccine which is more like 97% effective. I've never had a flu jab and plan to never get one because I prefer natural immunity to anything that doesn't pose a potential long term threat to me. Covid is very different in severity of effects and danger to others. You should try studying virology and find out how it works. It's come a LONG way since the 1950s. Also, nothing generates lawsuits faster than processes that don't work or cause harm. Lawyers as a whole are eager people searching for any opportunity, most good, some bad. Ask yourself just how useless something can be before generating lawsuits. If you want real data, the CDC has plenty for you. I just looked and with ONE click you can get data covering 1,720,000,000 flu immunizations over the last dozen years. How can we possibly know anything about something tested over 1,720,000,000 times? LOL. To educate yourself, try listening to the podcast TWiV, This Week in Virology. Some of the panels are more accessible than others but some are outstanding in their presentation of real world data to laypeople. It's on the YouTube channel of Vincent Racaniello and you can get to it from google by typing "twiv". Racaniello is a Higgins Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons and a noted author on virology. PS: If a black cat crosses your path, it's OK, you can keep walking and the sun will continue to shine. Have a nice day.
