  1. The most impressive stove is the WOOD CHIEF air tight at our camp. The fire box is so big, one can put large pieces of wood in it and it throws out lots of heat. The one quirk is the bimetal spring that chimes like a bell when the stove needs air....never seen one like it.

  2. ​ @jaylegere  I just did a Google search and believe it or not, there is a wood chief for sale in Beausejour Manitoba and it is IDENTICAL TO the one at our camp.

  3.  @jaylegere  My dad's friend....both are gone now....found it years ago at a yard sale in Sundbury I think. I have never seen another. They are well made. We have had that stove decades I am sure.
