  1. Seeing the grey plywood floor reminds me of our camp. I haven't seen -23 in quite a while now. I am almost 63 and the cold is harder to deal with. I used to do what you do all the time. I spent many trips at our camp in the winter. About your different choice of tent...camp...etc....it's all good to watch. The next time your propane bottle is iced up, pour hot water on the valve. Hot water can work miracles. Many years ago my dad and I got nearly stranded at our camp in late November. It went down to -20. I had to put my 6.5 hp outboard next to the sauna wood stove to defrost it. The ice was 10cm thick by morning. It was a crazy boat ride across the lake busting ice.
