  2. It used to be a dumb, brute force method: dump all the text that comes along the image or video and let the ai hopefully learn "something". Now, they use intelligent web scrappers to retrieve images and videos from the internet. Then, they use LLMs and other methods to obtain accurate and clean descriptions of the data. We are witnessing the "intelligence explosion" as it happens.
