  4. I like deepseek and open source, but to date there's no way to prove a model as safe in any way, not even USA made ones. The same way we train models to avoid answering to illegal or dangerous topics, models could be trained to have a trigger that activates under certain circumstances to do anything or to embed code into whatever code they generate for you or to try to exercise manipulation of the user with a certain goal. It would be difficult, but it's theoretically possible.
