  2. As long as they don't openly support Trump, I don't care at all about their ideologies. I use Firefox because it's still superior to any other browser. Runs faster (at least in my device) and has no ads and many extensions. But if I find something better I'll switch, of course.

  3. "Mostly academics and geeks" means no general users, as in no one willing to spend hundreds of dollars on dumb dancing videos and virtual money for games. Today's internet infrastructure couldn't survive without those users.
