  9. This is such an interesting building. I was there a year ago and was struck by how the historical variety of the place was so clearly visible. I very strongly remember seeing the image you showed of the icon of Mary surrounded by "Allah" and "Muhammad" and how much that fascinated me. Istanbul is full of interesting places. Did you visit any of the Sufi-lodges?
