  1. The EU makes up half of Turkey's trade, Russia stands for like 2-6% of it. Russia's exports to Turkey are 33% oil, 33% iron and 33% crap, and in return Turkey sells them fruit and other junk. Hardly an alternative to the West. Which makes it even more hilarious when their unhinged despots tries to win respect at home by posturing against the EU. We also make up half of Russia's trade, and their economy is the size of Spain's, and they think they belong in the big boys club and should get to decide in other countries's business... We can swat them like insects!
