Your myths and fantasies about NATO are just embarrassing. Putin's war in Ukraine has doubled the Ukrainian opinion about joining NATO. Talk about a backfire.

  2. I'm just saying: nobody has done more to boost the popularity of NATO in CEE than old Vlad. It's not 'the West' that is forcing old soviet states to pick a side. It is Putin. We would gladly have Russia as a partner, in particular on defense. But rule of law, democracy and no Western bogeyman to blame everything on would be the end of him and his kleptocracy. And we can't have that, can we?
