  2. You don't appear to understand that elections can be rigged. This most recent election was clearly so. The EU does the right thing by supporting the opposition, the only item on their platform is to hold free and fair elections. Essentially the EU supports free and fair elections in Belarus, and refuses to recognize rigged elections. Simple! And as democratic as can be.
