@hailyrizzo5428 Malays might be less likely to migrate I guess as they're mostly in Malaysia, where the NEP favours them, or in Singapore, which is more developed (though I'm not completely sure if people in Indonesia would be classified as Malay too)

1 of my greatuncles was recounting what he heard in Malaysia: "Malaysia has the word 'Malay' in it after all. But when we're in China you can use the same argument against me." Meanwhile Singapore might be like: " Come to me " (~7% of it's population is Malaysian, or ~400,000)

@omegaasura21 Meanwhile I've seen YouTubers pronounce the 'J' in Johor as 'Y' instead probably because they're from Europe & more used to Germanic phonetics
