im 32 and in similar situation if you feel any panic its a healthy response....people like us never had an actual burdon of performance because we never felt the "non result consequences" from the outside world and for the so called "social circles" we didnt exist in there...A LOT of older people that i talked to just say "32?! you still a kid i wish i was 32" DONT FEEL DISCOURAGED IT MIGHT NOT LOOK LIKE IT BUT THERE IS STILL TIME TO MAKE ANYTHING YOU FELL YOU LACKING TODAY STILL BE BETTER TOMORROW ......PUTING YOURSELF IN UNCOMFORTABLE SITUATIONS IN SMALL AMMOUNTS ALL THE TIME WILL CONDITION YOU TO FEEL MORE AT EASE.....DONT THINK TO MUCH JUST MAKE THE LEAP AND DIVE IN A SOCIAL SITUATION EVEN THO YOU MIGHT FEEL ITLL BE THE END OF THE WORLD.....ITS THE BEST FIRST STEP AT LEAST I FELT FOR ME IT WAS

from a 32 year old that did the opposite you chose the right thing to retire getting older cant even imagine how it sucked but now that you can relax at an older age i could only imagine that it would feel so much better
