  4.  @bbbf09  reports are RU offered to train his troops, Assad declined, maybe thinking he was now back in the Arab League, he ignored reports of al-Qaeda build up, if his own troops will not defend their country - no one from another country in their right mind would do it for them. Geo-politically Syria isn't that big a loss as its not on RU's border
