  3. the US has NOT been at war for 16 years since 1776 making it "the most warlike nation in the history of the world" as stated by former US President Jimmy Carter. the US safe knowing their 2 greatest allies will always protect them - the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. the US has learnt from their failures in Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq - it was US bodybags returning home that caused public outrage. Now the US uses proxies to do their dirty work for them, or long range missile / drone strikes
