  1.  @rorysloane904  but the ocean also has thermal levels that prevent sound radiating everywhere. they would use a pebble dropped in a pond as an example of how sound radiates, but put a barrier on one side and the sound bounces back - this is what thermal levels do so it may depend as to the depth of the implosion
