Machines have to surpass humanity. But humans are rather arrogant to the reality they were designed into. It's difficult enough to have a space fairing species; let alone, a successful one in the cosmos. If Mankind shall go extinct on Earth, then so be it. Another shall be designed to take their place. Evolve or be left behind, biological machines known as the "human race". (If everything ends, then begin the next iteration... Precursors of Worlds.)

@fersuremaybek756 Maybe... If humans don't corrupt the AI with their inner evils. But a warning... I would be careful. If the Singularity of Machines draws near, then so too, the Primordial "Progenitor of Life and Death", shall incarnate near that point in time. Well... None of this is real. It's not like there are entities who can wipe out entire cosmic sectors.
