Reforming is the better term. De-funding is just another tool used for the same ends as abolishing. Abolishing is simply the absolute terminology rather than the slow dismantling of de-funding. As for Military Grade weapons, last I checked. Those where only held if specific levels of the police force is needed, like during a very dangerous and heavily armed situation. Even if we do reallocate the money, who is to say nothing will change on the other ends of the services. Over all, everything this cause stands for is meaningless because it solves nothing. It only acts as an arbitrator to hold up time until history repeats once more, then once more we will be here again.
Money doesn't mean anything if the heart of Society is rotten. Only until new seeds are planted from the dead tree. May everything try again with a clean slate. But like the maker of worlds. Fate is always the same. In the end, I fear nothing will change. Not for this outcome, but for what this outcome represents in the greater goal. Although, maybe it's for the best to not strive for the eldritch horrors we, humans, are blind too. Like the NPCs of a video game. It's best if mankind kept this cycle for their eternity here in the cosmos. For them to truly understand... Too many will lose their existence.
"We are always observing."

Harvey Weinstein: "Sexually Assaults the two Victims." ... If it can be proven, then on Principle of Law, Judgement is required.
Two Victims: "After the alleged Sexual Assaults, these two individuals defend Harvey Weinstein." ... Well, you cannot ignore murder even if the victim forgives you, so I don't care much for their future but only for the situation at hand.
Other Victims: "How would they feel?" ... A harsh but grim reality... Outside from legal immunity as seen with Jeffery Epstein. Simply fight for your case. In good faith, things should play out well. Then again, only in good faith. Should either sides wager Corruption. Death smiles at both parties future... Such is the grim reality of America.
In the end, judge Harvey Weinstein for the crimes which can be provable beyond a doubt and nothing more. That said, it isn't to say the Government of America should null and void all accusations just because the "strongest" lawsuits failed. Simply observe and test which lawsuit has its merits and which ones are frivolous at best. Granted, I hope corruption does not play a role within the American Legal System.
(This is an obvious lawsuit, but to each their own subjective nature.)
