  1.  @johnallen7807  % of GDP is irrelevant when looking at total capability, and even without the US, NATO dwarves Russia. And theres no longer even the claim of Russian exceptionalism as there failures in Ukraine show. The risk to NATO is political division not lack of money. As I said we work from European bases all the time, the infrastructure is there.

  4.  @johnallen7807  It about collective defence not the US. None US NATO massively out spends and out mans Russia. There aren't so many British air bases left but there are still loads in Europe that we can, and do, regularly use.
