@Hobosurvival you really can't fix stupid, you've managed to look at Ukraine, where artillery is possibly to most dominant feature and concluded it has no future. One of the successes of drones is even that they can spot for artillery.

It isn't, but that isn't what its for so its an odd question.

@Hobosurvival do you think NATO has run out? They still have reserves just slightly fewer, they are also constantly making new munitions. They are just at the point where they don't want to undermine there own capability so are supplying from production, rather than reserves.

@Hobosurvival I have been watching, and artillery have been absolutely key, but they haven't been used against drones because it not what they are for. How vulnerable they are to drones might have been a worthwhile question but even then it doesn't work in isolation.

@Hobosurvival Artillery is by far the biggest killer in this conflict. If you mean how effective each shot is then it won't be artillery because a big part of it appeal is the ability to put a huge weight of explosives down field in a short amount of time. Drones are increasingly important but they aren't replacing artillery.

@mikewinston8709 yeah, because the British were slow to the fight is WW1 or 2, or Afghanistan or Iraq!? Or even more recently they certainly weren't striking Houthi targets. Where do you get the idea the British won't fight? Because it certainly isn't by there actions.
