  6. Denis Nyokabi There are lots of training grounds in the UK. But for different environments we have overseas training grounds. Kenya provides a rugged, arid environment that we don't have at home.

  7. random thoughts Yep, a few thousand are on peacekeeper or humanitarian work. How are you going to use an extra 100,000 or 2? My point is we need troops with the equipment and support so we can use them effectively. The deterrent is not for the home islands which no one is going to touch but else where, thus it's the deployable number not the total that is relevant.
