They are looking for an artillery counter, something like a grad launcher isn't a heavily armoured target.

It's war?
2
@tedviens1 I'm neither, I'm simply aware isn't a world government. There is no possibility of a strong UN, your choice is a weak UN or no UN.
2
@tedviens1 bored of this conversation now. You appear not to have understood basically anything I've said. And the fact you think Hungary is allied to Russia by taking a less opposing stance means your not informed enough to reason with.
2
Russia itself isn't threaten so there is no reason to think it would commit suicide by nulcear war much less China. And China has done pretty well out of the current order and would frankly benefit from a weak Russia dependent on it.
2
It hardly sent a fractions of what It has.
1
What makes you think drones are worse for civilians than any other weapon?
1
We are at the forefront, not being dragged along.
1
A defensive misisle system in an allied country?
1
That would just lead to the end of the UN, the reason the permenant members exist is because they won't subject themselves to t be whims of smaller nations.
1
@tedviens1 Ukraine isn't in NATO? NATO is there to defend NATO.
1
@tedviens1 it can chose to do more but that it done by consensus among its members. It is clearly to think of nations acting than NATO. And in this case I think a more ad hoc coalition is more likely even if NATO members would be it's core.
1
@tedviens1 it isn't a failure when that isn't what NATO is for, it's a defensive alliance. But anyway whats the problem with just acting outside NATO?
1
@tedviens1 What you don't seem to be getting is these organisations aren't soverign powers. One NATO members objecting changes little, you just get 29 members acting instead of 30. The power of NATO is in the individual countries not the organisation. The changes your suggesting aren't small. As I said with the UN without the veto countries would leave, the US, Russia and China for certain, likely UK and France as too as well ones with strong links like Israel or Belarus.
1
Didn't watch the video then, where it says they've been used in Afganistan for years?
1
Not the case, this Ukraine wanting to take a path Russia doesn't like.
1
These as short range systems, not ones that can be operated from other countries.
1
The day he wants to commit suicide. Russia has struggled with Ukraine.
1
Why, Russia is poor, it military will need rebuilding along with any territory they take, any militray aid Russia can send will be limited.
1
You know European countries are also sending weapons? Slovakia even sent an S300 system, a much more substantial piece of kit.
1
You know the UK spends billions on aid each year including hundreds of millions to countries like Ethiopia and Nigeria. It also helps train various African militaries and did act to end the Sierra Leone civil war.
1
Russia has already pulled back from regime change.
1
Russia hasn't even stopped selling to countries supplying weapons, nether mind destroying them.
1
The end is pretty clear, an independent Ukraine.
1
This a very different drone, frankly the word drone doesn't mean much anymore as it covers so much. This is more comparable with a mortar, Bayraktar with a plane.
1
Yes, basically any weapon threatens Russian forces, and this is a useful one.
1
Russians has already given up on the whole of Ukraine and is only going for the South and East.
