@authenticmax6350 I'm guessing you completely made that up rather than have some numbers to back it up?

Russia's an oligarchy with good relations with Israel. If there was a conspiracy they'd be part of it.
4
Who's starting a war? NATO isn't going to attack Russia.
4
@phuktard most of the world was controlled by other powers for large chunks of time. A history of oppression doesn't say anything about the present. Estonia is the country of Estonians. They don't even have a Slavic language. Russia has no claim.
4
It would be quite reasonable if Russia had friends near us. Imagine if Russia had friends...
4
Dozens of terrorist plot have been foiled. While not perfect our intelligence services do a great job.
4
Nothing. A Russian war with NATO is sucide as is a NATO war with Russia.
4
@phuktard it was a province of the Russian Empire. Occupied like lots of other places. What what you seem to be saying is you don't think it should be an independent country. Fully justifying why they want to be part of NATO.
3
@authenticmax6350 thatd what I thought, no comparison, so you made up your first statement. Terrorist attacks are tragic but the numbers are small compared the the hundreds of murders each year. And our murder rate is low compared to the vast majority of the world. And how well our services are doing is a different question completely. If there was one planned attack and it worked they'd be doing badly. But there aren't there are lots, they mostly get foiled.
3
There is no purposeful war with Russia (there is too greater risk it goes nuclear), only an accidental one. Being unclear about boundaries is the risk. NATO is a clear boundary, and we need to make sure Russia knows that.
3
You do realise this is a NATO operation. An organisation that over matches Russia is every way, even as far as land area which is about the only thing Russia has going for it. And how is defensive patrols begging for war?
2
@craigdavidson2278 SU 57 is an irrelevant test plane. SU35s would be leading there fleet. But even with old cold war planes NATO still out numbers them.
2
How? When?
2
@phuktard simply put Russia has masses of nuclear weapons, invasion is suicide. It isn't going to happen. But Estonia had already suffered invasion and deportation by the Soviets before the Nazis'. But what about NATO looks anything like the Nazis? And what countries have that joke? The ones that embraced the west are prospering. Russian crony capitalism isn't western capitalism.
2
@phuktard what part of denying a country independence is liberation?
2
@stephencockett9959 that's evidence of there friendship, despite being in opposite sides they aren't attacking each other. And I don't think Isreal cares that much about Assad. They don't want Iran there, or a particular strong Syria.
1
@kentucky fried Smiles are the outward sign, expats are the likely cause. But it weapons sales that confirms it to me. Russia uses Israeli drones.
1
Outnumbered by who? NATO jets vastly outnumber Russian ones.
1
Why would Europe want Russian missiles, they make there own.
1
@phuktard I'm not pro returning land. Estonians are in Estonia, there's nothing to return. I am pro self determination. Like in Ireland, the good Friday agreement. When there is a majority in Northern Ireland to leave the UK they can. Scotland just had an independence referendum.
1
They are grouped as the Baltics due to there Soviet history and small size but I hope they get the show there individuality. That said I could see Latvia and Lithuania also looking to the Nordic countries as they are good role models for anyone.
1
Belt and Road? No chance. Europe is it's own power block, not Chinese vassals.
1
@pparker768 it certainly isn't a win win situation with countries like Sri Lanka already being compromised by debt. It's a power play. China is trying to take advance of weak European economies like Italy and Greece. And while the US is far from perfect, it isn't an authoritarian regime. But as a said in my first post europe doesn't have to choose either it can be it's own power block.
