Where's the hypocrisy, Vietnam (half a century ago) is widely condemned and ended becasue of US public opinion.

It's a video about today and Ukraine, why would they mention Vietnam half a century ago?

To an extent this is true, there should be a greater burden on the aggressor as there is, say with the use of violence when someone has broken into your house.

@carlb4741 No, it's because of Putin. At least talk about the actual belligerents. The war is going on because Russia and Ukriane can't agree, and as its Ukraine that's being attacked the problem is Russia.

@carlb4741 It's nothing of the sort. NATO didn't need eastern Europe, but Eastern Europe needed NATO. This war is Putin thinking Russia should control it's neighbours when they should control themselves. The US isn't fighting this war, even the aid it's giving is only a small fraction of the US budget. And Ukraine has already won it's independence do it been worth the support and could win more.

@17thefuzz them mentioning it makes you complaining they haven't sound even more stupid. And they didn't mention the 30 or so other countries that haven't signed up. Rather than a reasonable point you simply what to have a dig at the US.

War is war but avoiding civilian casualties is standard. And mines are further than that because they persist and kill and maim during peacetime, when war isn't war.
