@thom0243 the idea is a mixed Ajax/Boxer group will cover the fire support and troop transport if from two different vehicles. If that works in practice is different question.

@thom0243 It isn't ideal but less different vehicles bring economies of scale and easier logistics. I would like to see a 30/40mm Boxer variant at least.

The only thing this suggest is tanks are good for propaganda. There's no fighting so it says nothing about if they are useful in war or not.

@peterwait641 You can only influence decision so much, you at least need a reason for your choice. But BAE has a lot of sway to begin with, GD lobbying would probably only equalise the situation.
