  1. For the US Thaad is hypersonic, ICBMs are high hypersonic. There is no fundamental problem, the specific of how good they are is more in doubt. But the Russian have had super sonic anti ship missiles for decades it wouldn't be so surprising for them to be progressed.

  7. I depends on what you talking about the glide vehicles are an advancement on ballistic missiles. Ballistic missile having been going at hypersonic speeds for decades the change is manueverabilty.

  8.  @AverageGuy916  Mach 20 is a normal speed for an ICBM, S400 is intercepting very few if any. If the S500 turns out to intercept 75% that will be an amazing success but that doesn't stop MAD.

  9. Yep, many ICBMs go Mach 20+. The difference here isn't the speed its the manueverabilty.
