Not really, they aren't metrics that are particularly useful in deciding if an F35 wins a fight.

@TT-hd3zi Not in the fight, but for overall effectiveness yes. For now we just need jets but tankering will be something to look into once we have numbers.

@theylied1776 As you own post says Britain was still attacking Germany not just tasked with defending. But more importantly air superiority wasn't achieve through physical presence, it was achieved through depleting the enemy air force. This was done as much by defence efforts like the Battle of Britain or Malta as bombing raids. And those earlier fights were done against veteran pilots not new recruits.

@theylied1776 it was all carpet bombing, day or night. Historians shouldn't be claiming RAF won air superiority over Europe, they should be claiming that the allies did. It was a combined effort.
