  1.  @SuperWagner23  Wow. Have you read anything about global warming? Certain actions are responsible not just people in general. Renewable energy is becoming competative with fossil fuels. More vegetables in your diet is good for you as well as producing less emissions. There is plenty we can do.

  2. The Falklands was a war fought with masses of tech and a few thousand boots on the ground. The actual invasion of Afganistan was the same. Occupation is different, but even then compare our casualties to those without the tech. I know which side I'd choose.

  5.  @SuperWagner23  Global warming can be dealt with in rich areas, the Dutch have lived under sea level for years. Just because the worst scenarios won't come to pass doesn't mean it won't be bad. And it is avoidable.

  6. They may make lots of money on successful products, but the lose on R+D that goes nowhere. Its high risk. They aren't particularly profitable companies overall.

  8. Carriers are designed to survive a hit or two. And carrier groups to not let that happen in the first place.
