  1. On the otherisde it's a waste to use long range stand off munitions when you can use cheaper munitions from closer.

  2.  @barrysoetorro9123  You seemingly missed my point, you might be spending $1m extra per shot for a long range weapon. When you start getting into long term wars your better spending more on the platform than the munitions. And that ignoring the fact on countries with strategic depth you need to stealth just to get in range to use the long range weapon. Also on Russia, Himars changed the flow of the war, because actually hitting your target is a big advantage.
