What total BS !! Costly ? The Russian assaults were absolutely slaughtered, why are the facts not stated as they are ? Ukrainian losses get the horror treatment even though they were far less than the Russian losses, and at least Ukriane actually made progress. Oh yeah and this 'only a couple of kilometres from encirclement' has been like that since 2014, so this is how much progress they have made in 9 years, not a few weeks.

@mpc7440 HA HA .. how come you trolls always run away when the topic is how Russia swallowed it's own grenade ? So why don't you educate us on the fake Russian Minsk Accords and how Russia refused to accept that they had to obey them also because they pretended that the Russian army was not fighting in Donbas but then this year Putin passed a decree recognsiing Russian Army soldiers combat service in Donbas so that they could get their pensions ?

What analysis ? Russia has lost more than 130 vehicles in Avdiivka in the last week, probably around 150 now, so at 20% you are claiming there are 750 destroyed vehicles in these pictures ?

@Fullgrym Your proof is where ? So what exactly are the facts you are putting forward ? The Russian army had to dig in because the Ukraine army beat their invasion force so badly they are hiding in tunnels on most of the front line. You are trying the mock the Ukraine counter-offensive against the Russian invasion ? The fact that there is a counter-offensive and that the Russian invasion force is hiding behind defences is mockery of the Rusisan army. What territory has the Russian invasion force taken in the last year ? This is an invasion so where is the invading happening in the last year ? Ukraine smashed those airfields and those helis and Russia has grounded them. Russia is on the run and is making a desperate attempt to take Avdiivka to avoid the total humiliation of failing to capture any significant cities or even towns since they were forced to shell Bakhmut out of existence because they could not capture it.

So Ukraine made a game-changer move using ATACMS against 2 Russian airfields wiping out almost 25% of Russian's KA-52 fleet in one attack but this channel ignores that stunning military achievement and instead tries to falsely present Russia's utterly disastrous failed assaults on Avdiivka as some kind of stepping stone to success .. but oh yeah the Ukraine counter offensive which has actually broken through Russia's defensive lines, that's a total failure .. yeah think I'll just skip this channel in future, starting with this vid.

@mpc7440 9 down out of how many still flying ? less than 40 ? Ukriane has been taking them out behind Russian lines using spec ops and manpads which is why there were all sitting at that airfield, they've lost so many Russia effectively grounded the remaining fleet and now Russia has lost those airfields as well as those helis.

Suchomimus Youtube channel documents 109 Russian armour losses in 10 days in Avdiivka, and Russia has not taken the spoilheap.They planted a flag there after Ukraine evacuated but they were forced to retreat afterwards

? What fantasy is this ? Russia invaded, but can't invade any further because Ukriane has beaten them to a standstill, and now is pushing them backwards. The #2 army in the world has been stopped and pushed back and that is 'holding pretty well' ?
