  1. Johnny Rotten (a massive Kate Bush fan) once said that his Mum had described Kate's voice as being like 'a bag of cats'! A lot of people thought that when she first emerged on the pop scene. But the way she used her voice as an instrument was breath-taking. Particularly on 'The Dreaming' and most successfully on the 'Hounds of Love' LP. I continue to he awed by her youthful brilliance. Her later career was less innovative, but still a refreshing alternative to the pop music of the day...and today in fact!
