Thsoe of us who enjoy the odd bit of amateur psychology diagnosed Boris many years ago. The real tradgedy is that despite the warning signs, the evidence and the recklessness of the man, he was allowed to get to a position where his actions had such horrible implications for the nation.

@iBoyNZ Exactly. Even Boris' Head Master reflected in one of his school reports how Boris was 'disgracefully cavalier', had shown a 'gross failure of responsibility' . Most significantly he observed that Boris thought it 'churlish' of people 'not to regard him as an exception to the network of obligation that binds everybody else.' How prescient and accurate that turned out to be. We were all warned by Rory Stewart three years ago, but no one appears to have been listening.
