  1. Why is anyone surprised that a Tory governmemt with a massive majority should take the opportunity to pass repressive bills that limit civil liberties? Its exactly what Thatcher did and what any self respecting home counties Conservative MP got into politics for. They would feel that they missed an opportunity if Priti Patel didn't introduce public order laws such as these at this time!
