In the UK the progressive, globalist left is so enbedded in the civil service and all the other government institutions, that a Trump like figure would need an extraordinary mandate to sweep them away and all the legal impediments they would no doubt create to block radical change. We have such a man in Rupert Lowe (bringing back Ben Habib wouldn't be a bad idea either) but he would have to secure such a massive parliamentary majority to be effective I'm not sure if that's likely. Maybe Trump will inspire our country and it will wake up a populist, nationalist movement? Stranger things have happened.
