  1. Excellent points. The problem is: our government has no intention of acting in the way you suggest, our civil service has every intention of countering effective policies to stop illegal immigration and the large body of left wing lawyers is committed to countering any attempt to prosecute or remove people from the UK. Incidentally, when he was a QC, our current Prime Minister specialised in protecting terrorists from extradition and having restrictions placed upon their movements. He also defended murderers of women and children and people on death row in the Caribbean. He was not a man who sought to protect victims against criminals so it is hard to imagine him being trully committed to 'smashing the gangs' let alone stopping illegal immigration.
