Some might argue that Moldovan reunification with Romania would be a terrible drain on the fragile Romanian economy. I presume they would be able to ask for economic and political support from the EU, to help bring Moldova up to scratch economically and politically, but whether they would get it would remain to be seen. It is quite likely there might also be a stubborn rump of pro-Russian agitators in Transnistria, the smugglers and the black marketeers etc, though bandits in the mountains wouldn't be a new phenomena in that part of the world! However, If Moldovans want reunification with Romania and the Romanians agree, they both have the right of self determination whatever the drawbacks. Plus it would be another nail in Putin's coffin. Bring it on.
