@jimbob498 That doesn't mean inflation isn't down. You do realize it takes time for prices to go down when inflation is down, right? Do you really think companies gonna sell their items cheaper then what they have bought them for during the higher inflation? I don't think you understand how it works but that's not surprising considering the low republican education.

Because prices were higher when consumer good were bought from companies that sell them. It takes time for prices to go down. Would you sell something under the price which you have bought?

I takes time for prices to go down. You have to realize that supermarkets had to buy their items at a high price at that time. They don't going to sell these items cheaper then what they bought them for. When inflation is down now then it doesn't mean prices are down now.
