We dare not forget today that we are the heirs of that first revolution. Let the word go forth from this time and place, to friend and foe alike, that the torch has been passed to a new generation of Americans - - born in this century, temperd in War, disciplined by a hard and bitter peace, proud of our ancient heritage - - and unwilling to witness or permit the slow undoing of those human rights to which we are committed today at home and AROUND THE WORLD.

@rbm6184 human beings seem to be a poor invention. If they are the noblest works of God where is the ignoblest? There are times when one would like to hang the whole humane race, and finish the farce. I have no race prejudices, and I think I have no color prejudices or caste prejudices nor creed prejudices. There is no such word let alone "a phrase" of "She" or "Her" mentioned in the Constitution. NOT once, not one time. But the word "He" or "his" is mentioned more than 25 times. But that not the subject. Because in the end the Mullahs of the Marble palace tells you what the constitution says. 6-3 or 5-4 is it their "Liberty"? I THINK NOT! Justice is to be blind. Although a statue of Gorge Washington points at the New York Stock exchange; "We dare not forget today that we are the heirs of that first revolution. @Kyle-pj2vc Concentration of power in a political machine is BAD; and an Established church is only a political machine; it was invented for that; it is nursed, cradled, preserved for that; it is the enemy to human liberty, and does no good which it could not better do in a split-up and scattered condition. So it defiantly SHOULD NOT. My country is not your church!

@rbm6184 Country First ALWAYS! Our founders ( white males, land owning, well to do) separated Church and state for a reason! TRUST IN GOD? ...a God who could make good children as easily a bad, yet preferred to make bad ones; who could have made everyone of them happy, yet never made a single happy one; who made them prize thier bitter life, yet stingily cut short, who gave his angles eternal happiness unearned, yet required his other children to earn it; who gave his angles painless lives, yet cursed his other children with biting miseries and maladies of mind and body, who mouths justice, and has none himself, who frowns upon crimes, yet commits them all; who created man without invitation, than tries to shuffle the responsibility for man acts upon man, instead of honorably placing it where it belongs, upon himself; and finally, with altogether divine obtuseness, invites his poor slave to worship him!

@rbm6184 I do not fear death. I had been dead for billions and billions of years before I was born, and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience from it. The so called Christian nations are the most enlightened aka (woke) and progressive...but in-spite of their religion NOT because of it. The Church has opposed every innovation and discovery from the day of Galileo down to our time, when the use of anesthetic in childbirth was regarded as sin because it avoided the biblical curse pronounced against Eve; Like the jab. And every step in astronomy and geology (the border) ever taken has been opposed by bigotry and superstition. The Creeks surpassed us in artistic culture and architecture five hundred years before the Christian religion was born. So please!
