In the States the Postal Service is also privately owned, processes 421.4 million mail pieces each day, 17.6 million each hour, 292,628 each minute and 4,877 each second. They do a very good job, efficient and reliable. Why because of a software glitch does this travesty have to happen in the UK? Why didn't they spot a bug in the post office software before taking action against almost 1000 employees? Dreadful! Sue also the software company. Get efficient and give these people their money back now, and compensation for wages lost when they were sacked unjustly.
