  4. @sam To be honest I am not really coping as much as embracing a sadism streak. Every ruined part of the USA, every betrayal, every steamrolled life and organization and dismantling of MAGA faith in their own choices is utter vindication to me. Even them refusing to learn and causing themselves ever worsening misfortune is bliss to my ears. My sympathy has run dry, my empathy has run out. I merely see the national equivalent of a child sticking a fork in a power outlet. And I'm done giving warnings about that being a bad idea, so time to sit back and let Darwin sort out the lesson plan.

The Framers did that intentionally so future generations were not bound and limited by the circumstances of previous generations. Hence they didn't write "in order to form a perfect union." But IS NOT, as I was lead to believe, the "Original intended meaning" of the 2nd Amendment. ...For fuck's sake the way you were talking I was under the impression the wording of the 2nd was different at some point. Nope! Apparently you were just referring to some secondary law that's existence is predicated on the 2nd already existing, not the 2nd itself. Oh well, guess I got my answer Eventually.
