  1. And add the shoe batteries at Cape May, New Jersey and Cape Henlopen Deloware. Drive from philly / camden (Olympia & BB NJ) to Cape May, take the car ferry to Lewes Delaware. You are minutes from the forts from the ferry landings. Then an easy 2 hours to Baltimore for the Frigate Constellation and some submarine and another famous fort. Then to DC for the Smithsonian air and space, Navy museum, Yamati test plate and many civil war forts.

  2. I would say, start in Boston and work your way south, Boston, NY, NJ/philly, Delaware, Maryland/ Baltimore and DC. Bonus points if you make it to North Carolina.
