  1. What trump fail to understand is the US is actually eating Canada's lunch in terms of trade. US buys raw resources from Canada process them, manufacture it into finish products and sell it back to Canada. There is a trade deficit because US imports alot of oil and electricity from Canada. Without those energy imports Canada would have a trade deficit with the US.
