  2.  @BlackEpyon  in the video you can clearly see there are still cars driving on the bridge. The reason why there ain't that many traffic was because it was 1am and the bridge was under repair they probably had the lanes closed for overnight repairs.

  4.  @jimbobeire  we are talking about 90secs here. I doubt anyone who is on the end of the bridge is monitoring ship radios. Anyone who heard the mayday call are either on ships or at the port authority or the coast guard. None of them people are on the bridge. The message will not get to the bridge in 90secs.
