Destroying houses with bombs is a waste of houses, bombs and money. Making bomb craters is providing the enemy with places of safety - doing their diging for them. Fights only happen between those able and willing to fight. The goal then is to remove the enemies willingness/ability to fight. Massive barrages are not only very expensive, but they encourage the enemy to stay away. The further away the enemy, the more difficult and expensive it is, to attack them.

You can't send sappers out into that.
3
Yes - so long as it's got young women.
3
@tmarinelic Yes, but he got the job by default,, and wasn't expected to achieve anything.

Sun Tzu says soldiers fight hardest when placed in danger.

Because _he doesn't know them_!

@kleooo4 Youtube deletes posts containing links.
3
@elitniygamer What should be said depends who is speaking. I speak English, so I say "Kiev". It looks like the original post has been deleted, so it's a moot point.

10km is about 6 miles. That wasn''t hard, was it?

5 stages of grief; shock, denial, anger, bargaining, acceptance.

He cannot please everyone.
3
@pascaleduprez9908 No, it's chosen, not choosen.
3
Who? Where? When? What are you talking about?
3
It doesn't matter.

"newswoman" - that's just a cover story.
3
@MarkBarrack You wouldn't worry a bit, if you're neighbour was an amateur bomb-builder, or amateur smallpox researcher, would you?

Congratulations on making the first comment 🍰🍰 Поздравляем с первым комментарием🍰🍰

@Fredmayve Oh look - the politics of envy.
3
They're saving the fun stuff for Nato.
3
It's easy, when you consider the alternative.
3
@saltysalt7339 Yes, Russia has conscription, meaning almost everybody does a year or two military service, and almost everybody who has done military service goes on the Reservist list, so Russia is always in a position to call up millions of Reservists, should it need to. It currently does not.
3
It isn't hard to do.
3
@Cl0ckcl0ck Good point - I'd forgotten that.
3
Nice one, 🦌friend
3
That's not true. See WWI.
3
Wait and see.
3
A drug-addled actor said he was "winning". Was that; Charlie Sheen, Vlod Zelensky, or Joe Biden? (Sorry, Charlie - rule of three.)
3
If that were true, it would go without saying.
3
If they're sent, they're not mercenaries.
3
@ulrichbatt3535 "Ronson's - lights first time, every time."
3
@oconnem1 And the word for today is "bafflegab". Bafflegab is a long collection of words, formed into sentences, that have no real meaning. In the Army, they have a saying - "bs baffles brains", and that was a perfact example.
3
*Ludicrous
3
That wasn't constructive.
3
IT DOESN'T MATTER
3
I heard 100kg.
3
@upstairs1307 Indeed. I usually take the position you have. I don't tell Dima he should say, or should not say something. We all know what he means by "fortificated" so there's no problem there. But I noticed He was tripping on the word - which is understandable, I would too. So, I let him know there's a much easier alternative.
3
@fndTenorio Intelligent people care.
3
@alexandernorman5337 I disagree. Barges are flat-bottomed, shallow draught boats. When loaded with coal and close to sinking, then they'll be stable, but take the coal out and put a heavy steel roof on, and it's going to get dodgy. A barge needs a shallow draft to go along river without running aground.
3
They could do that, but it's more efficient if they let the enemy move in first.
3
Or a big roller (like road rollers), or a big wheel harrow (not barrow, harrow).
3
@orrrlllyy3473 Certianly a flail will slow you down a lot; if you go fast - you'd miss a lot of ground. I think the problem with a roller or harrow would be cornering.
3
I'd say conscription is slavery - and that's usually against the law.
